Windcall Gorge Trail Location and Completion

Windcall Gorge Trail is in southeastern Gimli Ridge, Canada's second area; reach its start marker and follow all 20 checkpoints to the finish. Completing it unlocks The Blast Wagon, with a one-time reward of 25 Pebbles and another 5 Pebbles paid for each finish, including the first.

02

Reach Gimli Ridge From Emerald Lake

If you have not opened Gimli Ridge yet, head to Ferry to the Ridge in Emerald Lake. Reaching this exit portal opens Gimli Ridge, and crossing it brings you to Ferry to the Mountain on the other side. When travelling with friends, everyone needs to be close to the portal before you can cross.

Gimli Ridge's starting cabin is Sunset Landing Cabin. Before heading toward Windcall Gorge, visit a cabin if you need repairs or fresh supplies: cabins repair your vehicle, restore equipped tools, reveal nearby points of interest, and unlock fast travel points.

03

Follow Windcall Gorge From Start to Finish

  1. Drive to the Windcall Gorge Trail start marker in southeastern Gimli Ridge. Check the trail name before beginning so you are following the route that unlocks The Blast Wagon.
  2. Follow all 20 checkpoints through to the finish to complete the trail. The route covers approximately 820 metres and includes 40 metres of ascent, so work through the checkpoint sequence rather than aiming straight for the endpoint.
  3. Choose The Blast Wagon at the Mechanic after completing the trail to try your newly unlocked vehicle. The Mechanic lets you change vehicles, customize them, and choose the tools for your next outing.
04

Manage Traction During the Drive

Use Low Range if you struggle on a slope or encounter rough terrain, then return to High Range on regular ground. The default Engage 4L/4H control is Tab on keyboard, X on an Xbox controller, or Square on a PlayStation controller. Adjust your approach when progress stalls instead of repeatedly forcing the same line.

Windcall Gorge Compared With Other Gimli Ridge Trails

Windcall Gorge's distinctive vehicle reward is The Blast Wagon, a Workhorse weighing 2,800 kg with 44,000 N of base winch pull. Waddington Scree Trail is shorter than Windcall Gorge, while Elvis Rim Trail unlocks The Polyana instead. Choose your next trail around the vehicle you want to add to your garage.

Recover or Restart a Difficult Attempt

If you get stuck, look for a suitable winch anchor, such as a tree. The quick winch targets the object closest to the camera's centre; use the manual winch when you need more control over the attachment. If your tools cannot resolve the situation, selecting a discovered cabin on the map gives you a way to respawn.

07

Replay Windcall Gorge for Pebbles

Windcall Gorge Trail pays 5 Pebbles per repeat completion; the vehicle unlock does not repeat. If you want to replay trails for upgrades, compare your own completion time and consistency before choosing a regular route. A larger payout elsewhere is only useful if you can finish that trail reliably.

If a repeat completion fails to award Pebbles, update the game before trying again. The developers fixed an issue that prevented challenge trails and recovery missions from paying rewards on subsequent completions.
